The brand has been teasing the X5 series for a while, but today we finally have an official date for when it will come out. The Poco X5 and X5 Pro will go on sale worldwide on February 6, the company’s official Twitter account said in a recent post. At 20:00 GMT+8, there will be an online launch event where the devices will be shown off.
The upcoming Poco X5 and X5 Pro will likely be rebranded by Redmi phones, just like most other Poco phones. The basic model will likely be rebranded as the Redmi Note 12 5G with Poco’s trademark camera bar. On the other hand, the pro phone is probably a Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition that has been covered up. Also Read – A New Galaxy S23 leak confirms a custom Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor
You can expect these phones in new colors, like the brand’s favorite, yellow. Both Poco devices could have a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The X5 will probably have a Snapdragon 695 CPU, while the X5 Pro might have a faster Snapdragon 778G CPU.
The primary camera on the Pro model is expected to have 108MP, while the one on the regular model might only have 48MP. Both of them could have a 2MP sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Most likely, each phone will have a 5,000mAh battery. Also Read – Redmi Smart Band 2 Europe Pricing and Marketing Specifics Leak Before Launch
