It has been said that Shahrukh Saifi was caught on April 5 in Ratnagiri, three days after a train was set on fire. In the panic, three people, including a woman and a baby, jumped off the train and died. Nine other people were seriously hurt. When a customer pulled the chain to stop the train, the accused ran away.
The probe team was led by ADGP M R Ajithkumar. The cops worked hard to solve the case and even made a sketch of the person who did it so they could catch him. He was taken by road from Ratnagiri, which is in Maharashtra, to Kozhikode district, which is in Kerala. Now, it has been said that former head of the state’s ATS unit, IPS officer P Vijayan, released information about how accused Saifi was transported.
Officer P. Vijayan wasn’t part of the team that was looking into what happened, so his partner, SI. Manoj Kumar, called the officers who were taking the suspect from Ratnagiri to Kozhikode.
